OK, so forgetting about the fact that the Windows issue that I was searching for info on today (Windows Updates) hasn't been fixed since 2008 when this "temporary solution" was posted on Microsoft's site, I find it pretty funny that the oldest comment on the Microsoft community blog page (obviously posted before a site migration of some kind leaving the date as zero or something) shows up with the classic Unix epoch date (which is 1/1/1970 or 46 years).
...so Microsoft's support pages run on *nix.
