2018 was still a couple years before the great plague and I was pining for Pennsic. I spent a couple weeks going over what was then the most recent Pennsic Pile, a fantastic resource of courtly dance melodies compiled for performance at that event and offered freely online for musicians to practice and prepare should they desire to provide accompanianment. Most of these tunes were recorded on my Fostex MR-8HD over a few nights in August, 2018 though several were just loops recorded on my Boss looper while streaming on twitch, which back then was a weekly activity.
All of these ended up in a playlist on YouTube though not in this order. I do wish I had put more effort into each of these since most are just first (or second) take and move on type of recordings though I did put a little more effort into a few of them.
