Maggot Art?
OK. Is it me or is this wierd?
Maggot Art Dot Com
An activity for kids to create artwork by dousing fly maggots in paint and letting them squiggle around on a piece of paper. I’m not sure what is more disturbing, kids playing with maggots or that the proponents of the activity take the time to let us know that no maggots are harmed in this process and that they are released to grow into adulthood afterwards?!

This is nasty… and at the same time beautiful and interesting.
It\’s natural for us to be repulsed by things that feed off of the rotting dead, but those paintings, with their bright primary colors, are kind of cheerful. I think the two conflicting forces at work here make the whole thing kind of fascinating on an instinctual level.
