For several years now I’ve been using a wonderful set of php scripts called Gallery to run my Photos Page. Gallery has recently been updated to version 2 and I have taken the opportunity of the server move to convert my gallery to the new version. Because my pages are currently running on a hosted server, and since I also want to store audio files in the limited space I have on it, I’ve had to remove the password protected archive of family photos I’ve kept here here since 2003.

There are still password protected areas in the gallery specific to the various groups of friends I’ve made over the years. In order to view these photos, you must be logged in properly and I must have added you to the appropriate group. If you have an account on in8sworld, you may already have an account with the same username and password on the photos site. To recover a lost password, Click login, then click the ‘Recover Password’ link.

I hope to build a local server in the near future to serve up all my photos (if only to family members) and I’ll probably use Gallery to do it. If I do, I’ll definitely contribute some cash to the effort in appreciation for such a great project.
