New Site Feature - random flashback

SiteNews

You’ve probably already noticed the image block at right which displays images from stories and static pages buried deep in the site and links to them. This comes to you via a cool php hack by Oliver Spiesshofer of http://tokyoahead.com. I wish now that I had taken the extra time to add more images to the stories in the past! Most stories have no such associated images, and so won’t show up in the neat-o block.

Up barely a week and I’ve already got a new version installed! We’re
now up to v2.0 which should strip out the "\" slashes. While working
on installing another site feature, also authored by Oliver of
tokyoahead.com, I ran into a problem. In the space of two hours, he
had it narrowed down to a conflict with my particular installation of
geeklog (which has been hacked, modified and upgraded several times
over) and its now fixed, though not yet released. Look for something
new soon. This version the "random flashback" has several new features
to help limit what images get displayed, but for now its a free-for-all
with no filters other than your permissions on this site.
