It is a lo-fi, self produced venture that is as strange and wonderful as any of the syd barret solo material. After listening to the album about 100 times and talking to some other folks I’ve gleened that the album is loosely based on the diary of Anne Frank. It’s worth a listen….seriously.
Wilco
There is a new album out by the band Wilco called Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and it has become an immediate favorite of mine. There is a movie about the making of the album called I am trying to break your heart which I’ve heard is outstanding as well. I think Nate would really dig this album.
